I created this timeline using Hstry, whose mission is to "captivate students." This website uses interactive timelines as a way to engage and teach students in a unique way. There are many features for both students and teachers, allowing them to create, interact with others, and share their work to many different places.
My favorite thing about the website was the level of customization that was available to users. The streamlined approach to delivering information makes both creating and learning engaging. The multiple options of adding information and assessment show that learning doesn't have to be boring. Whether you want to add a video, a forum, or your own mini quiz, the students will be excited to keep scrolling down the timeline.
Websites like these can spice up any assessments and show students that self-paced learning is encouraged. This can give both students and teachers a break from traditional lecturing in the classroom.
