The Way to Organize Your Greatest Ideas
Ideament is an app that "lets you easily draw a diagram - mind map, concept map, or flow chart - and convert it to a text outline, and vice versa. You can use Ideament for anything, such as brainstorming new ideas, illustrating concepts, making lists and outlines, planning presentations, creating organizational charts, and more!"
Right away, the app begins motivating the user to create. It can be used for so many things, whether it's a to-do list, a vacation planner, or in my case, a way to teach students to organize their composition ideas. As a teacher, this app will be my go-to story starter. Having an overflowing abundance of ideas can often be overwhelming for students, disallowing them to create a tangible work.
The interface allows a simple way to add to existing ideas, as well as create new ones. As seen at the bottom of the photo above, the app allows users to undo, view their diagram as an outline, add more bubbles, and paster from previous projects. There is also the option to share your projects to multiple platforms. The ability to color coordinate allows a sense of customization for the students' projects.

Overall, this app is a wonderful addition to anyone using iPads in the classroom, but especially those of teachers and students. It's incredibly versatile, easy to use, and helpful in the classroom.
